To give you guys an idea of what we are doing with the US Fallen Heroes Foundation on the way to building the war memorial to those killed in Iraq and Afghanistan, I thought I’d share an email CEO Tonya Evans shared with me.
I also attached the conversation we had following it. Also, the Lord opened the door last night for me to share the message of Christ with her. As I think you will see from this conversation, she received it. Thank you all for your prayers for Tonya.
Tonya,
Thank you so much for ALL of the hard work and dedicated effort that you, Cathy, Larry, and EVERYONE put into the USFHF ceremony at Dixie High School in St. George to honor Ronnie last Monday!! Ron and I are overwhelmed at the love and respect shown by all of you and everyone who attended the ceremony. We will never forget your unselfish sacrifices to honor and remember Ronnie and all fallen heroes, and we deeply appreciate the beautiful tribute made to him in every way.
Thank you, also, for the beautiful picture of him that you gave us from the stage, we are going to frame it for our home. Thank you, too, for the lovely dog tag necklace pictures of Ronnie for us to wear, we proudly wear them daily. They are truly beautiful. I will be purchasing more for my family in the future.

I am literally in awe at the emotion and gratitude you can so powerfully feel in her words. They are just overwhelmed by the effort put into ensuring their son will not be forgotten. It is one thing for a family to cherish the memory of a fallen hero, quite another for his countrymen to hold them in such high honor.

I know. It’s breathtaking! Wait til you experience it first hand. I love that u “get it”
Randy-
Not only do I “get it”, I can’t get it out of my head. I’m reminded of the vision the apostle John had in the book of Revelation, where he saw the souls of those who had been killed for their faith in God.
“When he opened the 5th seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness they had borne. They called out in a loud voice, ‘How long, sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?”‘
God is always on the side of liberty and justice. He hears the cries of America’s martyrs as they encircle heaven’s throne crying, “How long, sovereign Lord, until a memorial is built to honor the sacrifice we have made for freedom?”

Oh my gosh Randy. That was beautiful! Now I’m crying. lol. (it’s a good cry). Help me get it done?! I have to.

I’m here all the way, and God is fully behind this. We know his purposes will not fail.
Heaven is certainly smiling down.
